Louis Trerise is a Melbourne-based advertising and editorial photographer with a strong focus on creative portraiture and visual storytelling. Since graduating from the school of photography at Ara Institute in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, New Zealand, Louis has spent years honing his craft and refining his style. He is sought after today for his unique approach to portraiture, combining a raw truth and genuine approach to the subject with well-crafted lighting and post-production processes to create finely polished, engaging images. He applies this documentary approach to his commercial work, capturing people in their personal or workplace environments with compelling honesty and insight.
